Hudson volleyball pair to sign

Hudson volleyball players Lacey Carley and Kayla Dugan will continue to be teammates at the next level.

The Cobra seniors plan to sign with St. Johns River State College on Friday afternoon, Hudson athletic director Keith Newton said.

Carley, a libero/setter, was the conference’s co-player of the year. She recorded 77 kills, 68 aces, 270 digs and 309 assists last season.

Dugan, an outside hitter, racked up 128 kills, 75 blocks and 44 aces last fall during Hudson’s 18-9 season.
