Hudson's Petersen headed to Aurora

Hudson G Zack Petersen signed with Aurora University earlier this month, Cobras coach Jason Vetter said in an email.

Petersen earned honorable mention all-North Suncoast honors after a solid senior season. He led Hudson in scoring (15 points per game) and was near the top in steals  (2.0 per game), rebounds (3.9) and assists (2.8).

Aurora is an NCAA Division III program in Illinois. Petersen made his commitment there official by signing on June 4.

Another Cobra, Bryce Durham, orally committed to Doane College, an NAIA program in Nebraska, Vetter said.

Durham averaged 13.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.9 steals per game as a senior. A date for his signing ceremony has not yet been set.
