Hudson QB Zack Wynn has a new school interested.
And it’s a Division I-A program.
Western Michigan, which plays in the Mid-American Conference, contacted Cobras coach Mark Nash last week to inquire about his 6-foot-3 senior signal caller.
“They called out of the blue,” Nash said. “They said they wanted his highlight video, and then they said they wanted his cell phone number. They called him personally. I think they’re serious.”
Western Michigan has not offered Wynn a scholarship, but according to Nash the team told Wynn they’d like to get him up to Michigan for an official visit sometime soon. They also apparently told him to send more video.
Western Michigan has recruited Dunedin QB Ryan Singer this fall (and made him an offer), but Singer committed to Presbyterian last week.
Wynn also has interest from Division I-AA programs Marist and Robert Morris.
He has passed for more than 1,700 yards this season..
