Interest picking up for Adrian Golden

According to Tarpon Springs football coach George Kotis, the recruitment of star Spongers TB Adrian Golden is heating up. No surprise there. Thus far, Golden, a Gulf transfer who set Pasco County’s single-season rushing mark last year, has gained 412 yards on only 44 carries. He also scored on a kickoff return.

“We’ve got people that want to see his film all the way from Bowling Green to Florida and Miami,” Kotis said. “They’re starting to notice.”

The Spongers have put together a three-game highlight video that will go out in the mail by Wednesday. Once we get our hands on it, we’ll put it up on the site.
