IRC standout Ryan Ashburn pulls the trigger

Indian Rocks Christian golf standout Ryan Ashburn, one of the region’s top players, has committed to Stetson.

Ashburn was fifth overall at the recent A-5 region tournament.

In that event, she shot 79.

Two weeks earlier, Ashburn recorded a 77 (38-39) to finish third at the Bay Conference Championships. She was named to the all-conference team.

Additionally, Ashburn was third at districts with a 77.

As a junior, she claimed the district title.

Ashburn will sign her letter-of-intent with the Hatters later this week.
