IRC's Ransdell will play at Covenant College

Former Indian Rocks Christian baseball player Chase Ransdell will play at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga., next season, according to coach Adam Moravick. Ransdell started at second base for IRC as a senior and hit .274 with nine RBIs and 13 runs scored.

He was named to the all-Bay Conference first team and was a Times' honorable mention.

Covenant College was 24-20 last season in the Great South Atlantic Conference.
