Hudson's James Tello, the North Suncoast’s top receiver last fall, will sign with NAIA power Lindenwood on Thursday.
The Lions were the national runnerup in 2009.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Tello caught 74 passes for 986 yards in 2009. He separated his shoulder late in the season, but has healed from the injury.
“It’s a very solid program,” Hudson coach Mark Nash said. “It’s a great opportunity for James.”
Tello recently visited the school. "He’s very excited,” Nash said.
Lindenwood produced several NAIA All-Americans in 2009. Former Lindenwood running back DeDe Dorsey signed a two-year contract with the Detroit Lions recently.
