In his notebook today about the happenings at this week’s U.S. Army All American Bowl in  San Antonio, Rivals.com recruiting analyst Mike Farrell had this to say about Plant junior James Wilder.

“Seeing James Wilder Jr. - Combine registration day was chugging along nicely and were there some very good-looking kids, but when Wilder Jr. walked in the room, everything changed. I've seen him on film, I've seen him interviewed but I've never seen him in person until now. At 6 feet 2 and a rocked-up 219 pounds, he looks like an NFL running back already and is the best-looking tailback prospect I've seen since Chris Wells back in 2006. Wilder may end up playing linebacker in college and he certainly has the frame for that as well. I expected to be impressed but not this impressed.”
