Jefferson CB Will Watson commits to Bowling Green

Jefferson CB Will Watson has committed to Bowling Green, Dragons head coach Jeremy Earle said. He chose the Falcons over Middle Tennessee State, East Carolina and Iowa State, the team he originally gave an oral commitment to in August.

Watson recorded 18 total tackles, six passes defended and two interceptions, tied for the team lead, for Jefferson, who finished the year 6-4 after winning the Class 3A state championship in 2010. He also rushed for 160 yards on 24 carries, caught one pass for 12 yards in a 22-0 win over Sickles and returned eight punts for 209 yards.
