Last Wednesday's National Signing Day was only the beginning of seniors officially choosing their schools. Now that the dust has settled, many smaller schools will ink the majority of their players.
Jefferson LB Zach Condon is among the first County players to commit post-Signing Day, as he signed with Ave Maria, and NAIA school in Naples, over the weekend, Dragons head coach Jeremy Earle said Monday. Condon, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound senior who transferred from Gaither prior to last season, recorded 15 total tackles for Jefferson (6-4), including a season-high three in games against Robinson and St. Edward (Ohio).
With Condon's signature, the Dragons now have seven players committed to playing college football: DL Tyriq McCord (Miami), DB Will Watson (Bowling Green), WR Adrian Jenkins (FIU) and DE David White (Florida A&M) and WR Jawuan Coffee and LB Lamar Woods (Becker (Mass.) College).
