Jefferson junior wide receiver Andre Davis has picked up three more scholarship offers, Jefferson coach Mike Fenton said Wednesday.
Fenton said the 6-foot-3 Davis had received offer letters from West Virginia, Kansas and Rutgers. He has previously received a verbal offer from Rutgers, but just recently received the offer letter.
It's the latest in what it expected to be a busy spring for Davis, who already owns offers from the likes of Miami, Florida State, Purdue, Texas Tech and USF.
Fenton said Davis' teammated Chris Moore is also beginning to pick up more interest. Miami recently called and wants to see more film on Moore. And Dragons quarterback Quentin Williams is coming off an impressive showing at the Elite 11 regional camp in Orlando.
And Davis, Moore and Williams will all compete at this weekend's Scout.com/Badger Sports 7-on-7 camp at USF. Last year's camp drew 300 of the southeast's top skill position prospects.
Jefferson will also host Schulman's National Underclassmen Combine March 19-21. The regional combine, which goes to sites all across the country is for rising freshmen through rising seniors.
