Jefferson WR Jawuan Coffee became the second Dragon in as many days to commit to Becker (Mass.) College, head coach Jeremy Earle announced today. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Coffee caught 24 passes for a team-high 516 yards and two touchdowns for Jefferson (6-4), a team one year removed from winning the Class 3A state title.
Coffee will join LB Lamar Woods, who announced his commitment yesterday, at Division-III Becker next fall. The two will sign their national letters of intent tomorrow along with DL Tyriq McCord (Miami), DB Will Watson (Bowling Green), WR Adrian Jenkins (FIU), and DE David White (Florida A&M).
