Jefferson junior quarterback Quentin Williams has been invited to participate in Steve Clarkson's Dreammaker Showcase on April 10 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando.

Williams, who guided the Dragons to the Class 3A state semifinal, was this season's Times All-Suncoast Offensive Player of the Year.

Clarkson -- a private quarterback tutor who has mentored the likes of Ben Roethlisberger, Jimmy Clausen, Jake Locker, Matt Barkley, Matt Leinart and Terrelle Pryor -- is holding showcases in 15 cities across the country.

Players in Orlando will be evaluated by Clarkson as well as ESPN recruiting analysts Tom Luginbill and Mike Gleason. Top performers will be selected to participate in this summer's Steve Clarkson Super 7 Maui Retreat in Hawaii, where they will work with the quarterbacks like Jpoe Montana, Warren Moon, Roethlisberger and Leinart

Jefferson coach Mike Fenton said Williams, who owns scholarship offers from FIU and Towson, was selected because he led the state in passing yards.
