Clearwater LB Jeremiah George, who made an official visit to Iowa State last week, said today he thinks a scholarship offer from Michigan could be on the way.
“My gut tells me they’re going to offer,” George said. “I’m not being cocky. The games I sent them (on video) I did really good.”
George sent the Wolverines footage from Clearwater’s games against Northeast, Countryside and Dixie Hollins. According to George, he had 22 tackles and two forced fumbles against Northeast, made “a bunch of big plays” against Countryside and had a pick-six interception and several big hits vs. Dixie Hollins.
“Michigan watched it either Thursday or Friday,” George said. “Tuesday, I’ll be getting a call to let me know if they’re ready to offer or not.”
Michigan is recruiting the 5-foot-11, 200-pound George to play safety.
Iowa State likes him at linebacker.
