Four Jesuit athletes representing three sports signed their college paperwork at a morning ceremony Wednesday.
Track and field standout Nick Medich (FSU), soccer players Chris Conlon (Catholic University) and Alex Moore (West Florida) and volleyball player Evan Young (Belmont Abbey) made their college commitments official.
Medich came within 2 inches of qualifying for the Class 2A state meet in the high jump last month. Conlon and Moore combined for 10 goals last winter for the soccer team, which reached the Class 3A state semifinals.
Young, a 6-foot-5 receiver who had 22 catches for the Tigers football team last season, has competed the last three years for the Tampa Bay Invaders, one of the top club volleyball teams in the state.
