After sifting through more than 150 applicants, Jesuit High plans to introduce its new football coach today at a 2 p.m. on-campus press conference.

Wide speculation has the Tigers hiring former longtime assistant James Harrell, who just completed his first season as coach at Freedom. Patriots athletic director Elijah Thomas said Friday morning Harrell has not spoken with him or submitted a resignation; Harrell didn't answer his cell phone.

Jesuit is seeking a replacement for Joe Ross, who finished 34-17 and went 5-0 against rival Tampa Catholic in five seasons, but never won a playoff game.
