Jesuit senior pitcher Ryan Caporice has committed to play college baseball at UNC-Asheville, Jesuit coach Richie Warren said Monday morning.

Caporice has made five appearances, all in relief, this season for the Tigers. He had allowed just one hit in five innings, holding hitters to a .062 batting average and pitching to a 1.40 ERA.

Jesuit (27-3) is one win away from advancing to the Class 4A state tournament. The Tigers will play at Cape Coral Mariner in Friday's region final.
