Jesuit senior DT Isaac "Ike" Edwards, a two-year starter and medalist in two throwing events at last spring's Class 3A state track and field meet, has committed to Western Kentucky.

Tigers coach James Harrell confirmed Edwards' college decision.

Edwards (6-foot-3, 286 pounds) finished the regular season with 35 tackles and two sacks, suffering a shoulder dislocation in the Tigers' Nov. 10 triumph against rival Tampa Catholic. Last May, he placed third in the discus (169 feet) and second in the shot put (57-4) at the state meet.
