Jesuit's Parnell commits to High Point

Rangy Jesuit RHP Jordan Parnell, a reserve on last season's Class 5A final four team, has committed to Division I High Point (N.C.) University, Tigers coach Richie Warren confirmed.

A 6-foot-4, 205-pound rising senior, Parnell made six appearances last season, striking out 13, walking 12 and allowing only two hits in 7.2 innings.
