It got hairy for a while there late in the game, but Tampa Catholic is the bay area's newest state champion. The Crusaders held off Orlando Bishop Moore 43-42 on Thursday in the Class 3A final at the Lakeland Center. This is the first state title for the Crusaders, and the first for the bay area since 1996.
