The U.S. Army National Combine has been doling out invitations to its January event in San Antonio to a number of Tampa Bay players, and one has landed in the mailbox of Largo quarterback Juwan Brown.
The Packer junior was invited Monday to compete in a combine that will feature 500 players from across the country. It also signifies one of the starting points of the 2013 recruiting season.
Brown, a 6-foot-2 lefty, has returned from a knee injury to lead the Packers to a 4-2 record, and recently received his first offer, from Florida A&M.
