A Friday full of workouts at the University of Florida and a morning full of 7-on-7 competition at South Florida’s Sling and Shoot on Saturday started to take a toll on Land O’Lakes tight end Kent Taylor.
“Yeah, I’m pretty tired,” said Taylor, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect.
Taylor said he enjoyed his experience at the Gators’ Friday Night Lights recruiting event, which featured individual and one-on-one drills.
“It was good,” said Taylor, a four-star recruit and Rivals’ top-ranked tight end. “Good competition.”
Taylor said he hasn’t officially decided on his top five schools, but UF, Alabama, Penn State, LSU and Georgia are at the top.
He said he likes the Gators because “it’s just a nice school, good academics.”
Taylor had a pair of impressive catches, including a 30-yarder, in Land O’Lakes’ 13-7 loss to Plant at USF.
