A look at Weston Sagemont, which faces Tampa Prep in Thursday's Class 3A state title game

Sagemont Lions (24-7)
Coach: Adam Ross (fourth season, 91-27)

Last state tournament berth: 2011 (won 2A state title)

Players to watch: PF Jeff Coby, Sr., 6-8 (11.2 ppg, 8.0 rpg); G Egor Koulechov, Jr., 6-5 (15.8 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 3.0 assists); G Joe Kirby, So., 6-0 (8.4 ppg, 2.6 assists); SF Jordan Cooper, So., 6-5 (10.3 ppg, 3.9 rpg)

Need to know: Like Providence on Tuesday, expect the Lions to try to slow the tempo against Tampa Prep and work the ball inside to Coby (a Columbia signee) and Koulechov. The pair combined for 35 points and 17 rebounds in Tuesday night's 71-49 semifinal romp of Shorecrest. On the perimeter, the Lions attempted only five 3-pointers, hitting none. ... Sagemont doesn't appear terribly deep, which plays perfectly into the Terrapins' hands if Coby or Koulechov get in early foul trouble.
