Five student-athletes at Berkeley Prep plan to sign with colleges next week, the Buccaneers announced Wednesday morning.

Stanford will pick up two volleyball players from Berkeley: Sidney Brown and Kyle Dagostino.

Brown, the reigning Tampa Bay Times all-Suncoast player of the year, leads the Class 4A region finalists with 415 kills. Dagostino will play for the Cardinal’s men’s team, which is a varsity sport at Stanford.

Kristin Hoover intends to sign to play softball at Cal after batting .667 last season. Basketball standout Justin Gray, an all-county guard, is headed to Texas Tech, and pitcher/infielder Dante Bosnic will ink with Brown.
