The county's top two girls basketball teams, Lakewood and Clearwater, will play in Friday's Pinellas County Athletic Conference championship game. Tip-off is 7 p.m.

The host Tornadoes (20-2 as of Tuesday) have the experience and are making their fifth straight appearance in the conference title game. The Spartans (18-4) are making their second appearance during that span. But Lakewood is undefeated against county competition this season, including a victory against Clearwater in December.
