Lakewood coach Cory Moore has been named one of seven assistant coaches for the East team in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Moore, who helped lead the Spartans to the Class 5A state semifinal this season, was an assistant coach for Team USA in the under-19 World Championship in Austin, Texas, in 2012.

Moore will join Lakewood OL Isaiah Wynn at the Army All-American Bowl, which will be played Jan. 4 at 1 p.m. in San Antonio. The game attracts some of the best high school seniors in the country. It will be televised on NBC.
