Lakewood's Lane headed to Florida Southern

Lakewood forward Dominic Lane has signed to play basketball at Florida Southern, Spartans coach Dan Wright said.

Lane was Lakewood's best post player the past two seasons, leading the Spartans to a district runnerup finish in 2008-09 and a district title and berth in the region finals this season.

Lane will join a young Mocassins team that finished 25-5 and were first in the Sunshine State Conference regular season standings this past season.
