Lakewood's Rodney Adams still quiet about college choice

Most of Pinellas' top football players have already tweeted or texted where they're planning to sign Wednesday. The one who still has folks scratching their heads? Lakewood receiver Rodney Adams.

Adams, a four-star prospect, committed to Florida nearly a year ago before deciding to reopen his recruitment this past fall. He has narrowed his finalists to Cincinnati and Toledo and is expected to announce his decision while in Austin, Texas, where he is playing in the International Bowl.

Popular buzz is Adams will pick the Rockets.

Toledo was the last school Adams visited. And the host player during his trip was Bernard Reedy Jr., a former Lakewood standout who was Toledo’s leading receiver this past season.
