Land O'Lakes ace Connor Coplon signs with Landers University

Land O'Lakes ace Connor Coplon has signed a letter of intent with Division II Landers (S.C.) University, Gators coach Calvin Baisley said in an e-mail.

Coplon is 5-1 this season with 75 strikeouts, 19 walks, two saves and a pair of shutouts.

Coplon transferred from Sunlake before the season and joined a pitching staff already full of standouts, including Jason Garcia.
