Land O'Lakes senior Jason Garcia pitched a perfect game Thursday in a 3-0 win against rival Sunlake.

Garcia, who is being tracked by Major League Baseball scouts, finished with 15 strikeouts, and no balls reached the outfield.

Three Sunlake batters pushed the count full before Garcia was able to strike them out. Sunlake's Nick Mantegna also pushed one of his at-bats to three balls before grounding out.

The Gators scored all of their runs in the sixth inning. Nick Pardo led the inning with a home run. Tommy Cook later singled, scoring Kent Taylor. Cook scored on a passed ball.

The Gators play at  Mitchell tonight.
