Land O'Lakes CB Jamerson Davis has committed to play for Heidelberg (Ohio) College.

Davis becomes the eighth and final Gator from the 2010 class to commit to playing college football, coach Matt Kitchie said.

"That's a phenomenal senior class," Kitchie said.

Davis had originally intended to seek a college close to home because he was coping with undisclosed family issues. When those issues were resolved, he called Heidelberg and Land O'Lakes teammate Chad Williamson, who also has committed to the school.

"(Williamson) helped me out with knowing everything I needed to do," Davis said. "He told me what I needed to do to get accepted."

The 5-foot-9, 165-pound Davis finished with 35 tackles for the 9-2 Gators. He also had an interception and five pass deflections.

Davis said he traveled a lot when he was younger, so playing in Ohio should not be an issue. He also said he loves snow.

"I'm glad I'll be able to get a college degree being able to do what I love to be able to do," Davis said.
