Land O'Lakes quarterback Stevie Weatherford has picked up another scholarship offer.

North Texas offered the junior Monday, Land O'Lakes coach Matt Kitchie said.

The connection with North Texas is through offensive coordinator Mike Canales, who offered Weatherford as a sophomore when he was at USF, Kitchie said.

Weatherford also has offers from Boston College, Iowa State, East Carolina and Southern Methodist.

In addition, Kitchie said Weatherford will be eligible to participate in spring practice when it begins next week. Weatherford's mandatory 20-day suspension from extra-curricular activities ends Friday, Kitchie said.

Weatherford was arrested March 26 on suspicion of burglary and grand theft, both felonies. Kitchie said Weatherford was never charged.
