Land O'Lakes' boys soccer team, which already had a loaded roster, has just gotten stronger.

The Gators gained a pair of transfers expected to help bolster a team that finished 18-4-2 before losing to eventual Class 4A state champion Mitchell.

Sunlake forward Miguel Laliberte, a junior, led the Seahawks last season with 31 goals, a school record. He also set the school record for assists as a freshman with 15. King transfer Josh Davis comes in as a junior after leading the Lions as a forward with 15 goals in 2009-10.

Davis scored against Land O'Lakes last season in a game the Gators lost 2-1.

"We look good for the season," coach Mark Pearson said in a text message. "They are two very productive forwards."
