Largo quarterback Alex Skinner, a transfer from Canada, was cleared to play in Thursday's regular season opener against Dunedin after the Florida High School Athletic Association received his full transcript this week.

This is Skinner's first game as a Packer. He was not able to play in the spring game against Bradenton Manatee because he transferred to Largo after the second semester began last season. And he was not able to play last week because the FHSAA had not received all his paperwork.
