You can add Largo lineman Adarius Rayner to the list of top 2012 prospects in Pinellas County, as the rising senior has already picked up offers from Iowa State, Youngstown State and Illinois State.
Monday, North Carolina was taking a peek at the thickly built 6-2, 250-pounder, though coach Rick Rodriguez points out Rayner doesn't look a pound over 225. Rayner is being recruited as a defensive lineman by most schools looking at him, and has been clocked at 4.8 seconds in the 40 and is quick.
"He can play on the end, but most colleges are looking at him as a tackle,'' Rodriguez said.
Rayner will get a chance to show out for colleges Friday, when the Packers host Clearwater in their spring jamboree.
