Talented Gulf TE/DT Leon Orr, who fractured his leg in Week 2, had surgery Thursday to repair the damage, Bucs coach Jay Fulmer said today.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound senior is a Florida Gators commit and Rivals.com top-100 national recruit.

Orr hurt his ankle against River Ridge after attempting to catch a pass. Initial X-rays showed no breaks or cartilage damage, but a subsequent exam found that Orr's lower leg was fractured.

Orr said he should be fine in about two and half months.

"I'll be back to 100 percent," Orr said.
