Leon Orr wants to make one thing clear: He is not wavering with his commitment to the Florida Gators.

“I wouldn’t be committed to them for a whole year if I was,” Orr said.

Earlier today, we reported that Orr, a prized DT recruit from Gulf, not only was trying to graduate early, but still had other schools pursuing him and might be willing to listen should he not get into UF in January. But in a phone call moments ago, Orr was adamant that he is not looking around, even though FSU, Miami and Tennessee are among the schools still recruiting him.

“I know for sure I’m going to UF,” Orr said.

In interview No. 2, Orr said that after gathering some information in regards to the NCAA Clearinghouse, he’s firm with his plans regardless of whether he finishes high school in December or not.

“If I don’t go (to Florida) in January, I’ll wait,” Orr said.

Orr maintains he has always been "solid" with Florida.

“I was just trying to figure out if this science class was holding me back,” he said. “With the NCAA Clearinghouse, it had nothing to do with college; it’s the (Division I) requirements.”

So there you have it; Orr’s a Gator.

The only questions now are this: Will he be one in January -- or will he have to wait until July?
