We're here at Pepin Stadium in Tampa for the Class 6A state semifinal between Weston Cypress Bay and Countryside. So far, Cypress Bay has dictated the pace with two shots on goal. With 32 minutes left in the first half, Cypress Bay's Carlos Vargas hit a high shot that was out of reach for the Cougars' goalkeeper Hunter Maricle.

Countryside came alive in with 29 minutes left in the first half to tie the score.

11:00: The score still is 1-1. Maricle made two nice saves to thwart scoring opportunities.

Halftime: The game still is 1-1. Cypress Bay has outshot Countryside 2-1. If the Cougars win, they'll have a chance to move up even more in the national rankings. Countryside currently is ranked 9th in the nation in the ESPN Rise poll.

24:00: The score remains the same. Both teams have had shots on goal.

17:53: The score still is 1-1. Countryside headed a ball that just missed the right post.

13:50: Countryside's Cory Sauerwine missed a shot that deflected off the keeper's left hand and missed the left post.

6:38: Cypress Bay breaks the tie as Andres Torres scores when Hunter Maricle drifts out of goal.
