Fourteen bay area boys soccer players were selected for the Florida Athletic Coaches Association all-star soccer games this weekend at the Jervey Gantt Recreation Complex in Ocala.

Comprising the majority of the West Team are: (F) Tevin Gage, Bloomingdale; (GK) Hunter Maricle, Countryside; (D) Andrew Hitt, Countryside; (M) Jagger Martinez, Countryside; (M) Nikolai Hammer, Countryside; (GK) Kody Parker, Land O'Lakes; (D) Brandon Shaneyfelt, Palm Harbor University; (D) Brian Steele, Tampa Prep; (M) Jake Peterson, Tampa Prep; (D) Stephen Gathman, Jesuit; (D) Chase Goodwin, Jesuit; (M) Tyler Hartlage, Jesuit; (M) Danny Johnson, Plant and (D) Keaton Burchfield, Wharton.

Wharton head coach Scott Ware will skipper the West Team and will be assisted by Brandon head coach Allen Ware.

The West All-Stars play the East All-Stars at 6 p.m. Friday. The winner plays in Saturday's championship game against the North-South winner at noon. The losers from Friday's games will meet in a consolation game at 10 a.m. Saturday.
