Floridahoops.com, which as you probably could have guessed covers prep basketball, has named several local players to its preseason all-state boys basketball squad.

They are:

-Jay Bowie, F, Tampa Prep: Third team 2A

-Jamal Cherry, G, Tampa Prep: HM 2A

-Jordan Davis, G, Sickles: Second team 5A

-Michael Frazier, G, Plant: Third team 6A

-Dominic Lane, G, Lakewood: Second team 4A

-Quincy Mitchell, F, Tampa Prep: HM 2A

-Devontae Morgan, G, Tampa Prep: Second team 2A

-Andre Smith, G, Blake: Second team 4A

-Okaro White, F, Clearwater: All-Florida first team
