LSU became the latest school to extend a scholarship offer to Land O'Lakes class of 2012 prospect Kent Taylor according to Gators first-year head coach Brian Wachtel.

The Tigers join Florida, Miami, Illinois, Florida State, Oregon, Purdue, Kentucky, North Carolina State and Cincinnati as schools that have offered the 6-foot-5, 220 pound tight end.

Taylor caught 35 passes for 571 yards and nine touchdowns during his junior season at Land O'Lakes and figures to play an even greater role in the Gators offense as a senior.
