Gulf QB/ATH Madison Burr, one of the area’s most versatile players, has a leader, his high school coach said today.
“Wofford is his favorite right now,” Gulf coach Jay Fulmer said. “They’ve done the best job recruiting him.”
In college, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Burr could play QB, WR or even DB.
Right now, Marshall is the other school showing the most interest. According to Fulmer, Marshall has given Burr a verbal offer.
Wofford is a Division I-AA program; Marshall is I-A.
