Tampa Catholic running back Hank McCloud has been invited to play in this week's FACA all-star game.
For McCloud, who rushed for more than 1,700 yards in leading the Crusaders to the Class 2B state title game, the game might offer another opportunity to impress college scouts.
This past week, McCloud picked up an offer from Furman. He also has offers from Towson, Navy and Harvard.
McCloud has also received recent from Rutgers.
"I've told the coaches there he's a lot like (former Rutgers star and current Baltimore Ravens running back) Ray Rice," Tampa Catholic coach Bob Henriquez said. "The running backs coach there really likes him."
