Mitchell's Jessika Hester signs with Webber

Mitchell standout middle hitter Jessika Hester has signed to play volleyball at Webber International.

The Sunshine Athletic Conference player of the year earned first-team all-North Suncoast honors as a senior. She led the Mustangs in three major statistical categories: kills (255), aces (74) and digs (275). Hester also had 10 blocks and 15 assists for 18-7 Mitchell.

Her strong season led the Mustangs to the runner-up spot in Class 6A, District 10 and a playoff appearance. Mitchell lost in the first round to Winter Haven.
