Mitchell's Kevin Games, who was named the Sunshine Athletic Conference West County player of the year following the 2011 season, has committed to the College of Central Florida according to Mustangs head coach Scot Wilcox.

Games batted .489 for Mitchell and had team highs for runs (40), RBIs (38) and triples (6). He also hit seven doubles and four home runs and had 16 steals.

On the mound, Games made 12 appearances and eight starts. He went 5-2 with a 2.13 ERA in 52.2 innings pitched and struck out 72 batters.

Mitchell won its first postseason game in school history after knocking off Land O'Lakes 11-10 in the regional quarterfinals. The Mustangs were the 4A-7 district champions and finished the year with a 23-7 record.

The College of Central Florida is a junior college located in Ocala.
