Nature Coast senior distance runner Jazmin Turney signed with Midway College, a NAIA school in Midway, Ky.

Turney took first place in the 3,200 meter run at the Hernando County Championships as a senior, running 13:34 to win gold. She was third in the 1,600 meter run in 6:14 at the same competition. At districts, Turney placed seventh at the district meet in both the 1,600 (6:08.90) and the 3,200 (13:47.18).

As a cross country runner for the Sharks, Turney was 43rd at districts (22:48.45) and 44th at regionals (21:54.20) in her senior season.
