Matt Dennis, the lone senior from a Nature Coast boys basketball team that went 27-4 and advanced to the Class 4A region finals for the second-straight season, has committed to Baldwin-Wallace College according to Nature Coast head coach Dave Pisarcik.

Dennis, a strong forward for the Sharks, nearly averaged a double-double at 9.6 points and 9.3 rebounds a game as a senior. He was also considered the Sharks' best on-the-ball defender and was good for four steals and 1.1 blocks a game. Dennis holds the Nature Coast record for most steals in a season.

Dennis was selected to the St. Petersburg Times' All-North Suncoast first team following his standout senior season.

Baldwin-Wallace, which is located in Berea, Ohio, is a Division III program that plays in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Yellow Jackets finished the 2010-11 season 9-16 overall and 5-13 in conference play.
