Nature Coast's Braddie Ellison, a potential D-I tight end recruit, scored on a 62-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter in Friday night's 15-6 win over Tavares. On the following possession for Tavares, Ellison was injured on defense.

He spent the remainder of the game on the sideline in a sling.

Sharks coach Mark Lee classified it as a shoulder or elbow injury that would need to be assessed further Saturday. When asked about the injury, Ellison said, “It’s my shoulder. At first, I just got a stinger, but it’ll be fine. I’ll be ready to go again on Monday.”

Nature Coast (3-1) plays Leesburg next week.
