Two-way standout Isaac Bailey III, who starred at running back and defensive back for Nature Coast, has accepted a scholarship offer to play for ASA College according to Sharks' assistant coach Rob Kazmier.

Bailey is being recruited by ASA as a defensive back. Kazmier said that ASA "loved Isaac's speed and athleticism."

Bailey rushed for 1,331 yards and 11 touchdowns on 179 carries -- an average of 7.4 yards a touch -- for 5-5 Nature Coast in 2010. He finished the season as the leading rusher on the North Suncoast. At defensive back, Bailey had 19 tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery and two caused fumbles.

Bailey was selected the Florida Athletic Coaches Association District 8 MVP, and he was a St. Petersburg Times' All-North Suncoast first team pick at running back after his senior season.

ASA College is a junior college located in Brooklyn, N.Y. The football program at ASA recently completed its second-ever season. According to their website, the Avengers sent 13 players on to a four-year program following the 2010 season, including seven that went to Division I-A programs.
