Countryside RB Alton Taylor, who rushed for more than 1.900 yards and set a school record for touchdowns last fall, has received a new scholarship offer. It came from Baker University, an NAIA school in Kansas. “That’s a really good offer,” Countryside coach John Davis said. Baker went 7-3 last fall. Another program, Seton Hill (Pa.), will be in Pinellas County next week to meet with Taylor. Seton Hill is a strong Division II program.
